- As you can see, Don and I love to travel. We both retired from American Airlines where were originally bitten by the travel bug. Our favorite in-town activity is to volunteer in our community. We are members of the Citizens Police and Fire Academies. I'm proud to claim 55 handsome firefighters as my "sons". Life is good and we are truly blessed with loving family and wonderful friends.

Hi Linda. Such a valid point. The more cyber time you put in, the more sucked in you get. When I first joined FB, I was on it a lot catching up with people and it added to my computer time significantly...Xee felt a little neglected. I love to blog and have several running blogs in my head at any given time, but I have to limit my computer time. FB is now just an extension of my email. I keep it brief. And there is a link on my FB page to my blog-people can read more on my blog if they choose. Hey, balance is the key. Some people blog for a living or spend hours on FB. I have to choose to spend time with the three dimensional people who are present with me in this house. Family comes first afterall. I say enjoy both when you can or choose the one you enjoy the most!
